Meet Heather!
A Texas-Raised, Chicago-Based Creative.
Heather absolutely loves telling stories and has a passion for creating across a variety of mediums. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance. As a part of her practicum year, she studied American Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, England.
Heather’s passion for creating her own work has led her to self-publish a book of essays, write and produce a web series and multiple short films, and write plays. Her devotion to creation was sparked early while studying film at Garland High School and at the Movie Institute’s Summer Filmmaking intensive, Kamp Hollywood. In college, Heather’s impulse to write began to take on more shape while studying playwriting under Jack Heifner.
In January 2022, Heather premiered a new podcast, Last To Leave, that she co-hosts with Zoey Danielson.
